Accommodation

Kadaltheeram Beach Resort consists of the main Hotel which has a Ground Floor House accomodation and three separate apartments upstairs.

The Kerala House in the garden has another two apartments.

All accommodation is cleaned daily. All linen and towels are provided and changed regularly. Tea, coffee, powdered milk & sugar are in every room. Other things we provide are: Beach mats & towels, two European-Indian plug adaptors, mosquito
plug-in and mats, plastic containers for items of food, soap. Mosquito nets are available on request.

Main Hotel

The Ground Floor has a sitting room with settee, chairs and table. There is an ensuite wet room with shower, washbasin & W.C.
Two futons are available which can be put in the sitting room should you have small children who need to be in the same accommodation as you.

A Kitchen / Dining room with fridge, two ring gas hob, microwave and both European and Indian cooking utensils.

From the dining table there are views through the garden to the beach and sea.

The bedroom has twin beds and a built in wardrobe with lockable safe drawer. A writing table with drawers and chair.

There is an ensuite wet room off the bedroom with shower, wash basin & W.C.
The veranda with small table & chairs is the perfect place to relax and watch village life passing by.

There is the Kadaltheeram Roof Garden , a real suntrap for the serious sunbathers.
A couple of chairs and sun beds and a place to escape with just the crows and chipmunks for company (plus me or Ambi doing the daily chores).

Upstairs Apartments

Upstairs there are three separate apartments. All have ensuite wet room and private balcony with a sea view.
There is the Davadasey Twin bedroom, Mermaid Double bedroom and Rhada Krishna air-conditioned Twin bedroom.
All the apartments have a mini fridge, kettle, toaster and cutlery & crockery so you are able to make breakfast or bring back a meal from one of the local restaurants to eat. All have built in wardrobe with lockable safe drawer and a writing desk & chair. The balconies have a small table & two chairs plus a wooden clothes drying rack.

Kerala House Apartments

The house is in traditional Keralan style with the coconut leaf roof and both apartments have ceiling fans/natural ventilation.

There are two apartments in the Kerala House. Each has an ensuite wet room with shower, wash basin & W.C. and the same facilities as the apartments upstairs in the main Hotel. (mini-fridge,cutlery/crockery etc). The veranda in front looks out onto the garden and sea.

Beach Sit-out area

From the top garden you go down to the large sit-out area by the beach where there are hammocks, sun beds and chairs where you can relax and sunbathe or sit under the shade of the coconut trees. There is direct access onto the beach through the
gate at the bottom so that you can go for a swim or just a stroll along the beach.
