Kadaltheeram Beach Resort is a new beachside accommodation completed in November 2005. Its situation, in amongst the coconut trees, right next to the beach, and with a view overlooking the Arabian Sea makes it the ideal place for a relaxing and wonderful vacation.
Local life unfolds around you, giving you the rare opportunity of becoming part of the village and experiencing India to its full potential.

The Hotel and surroundings
Whatever the purpose of your visit we are sure you will enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Kadaltheeram Beach Resort.
Staying in the middle of an Indian village next to the sea, but without the confinements of the usual hotel, gives you the rare opportunity to experience India rather than just visit it
Close by are several large hotels where it is possible to go and enjoy a special meal in their luxurious restaurants at reasonable prices, or you may prefer to eat fruit bought from one of the ladies on the beach. There are also local restaurants nearby on Coconut Bay Beach or at Mukkola Junction where you can eat in, off the plate or banana leaf, or alternatively have it packaged up and bring it home to eat.
Down by the beach is our New Restaurant
serving Traditional Keralan & European Food.
Open all day with Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and also Light Snacks and Drinks.
If there is something you would like that is not on the Menu, such as Tiger Prawns or
Lobster, then let us know in the morning so that we can buy it fresh when we go to the
market and cook it for you that evening.
Babu, our Chef has many years experience cooking both Indian & European food.
He has worked in several restaurants in India and also for a couple of years in Switzerland.

All bedding / towels are provided and all rooms have natural ventilation / ceiling fans. Upstairs accommodation will be cleaned every day unless otherwise requested. If renting the ground floor you may prefer to do this yourself rather than us coming in every day - it’s entirely up to you.
We can also arrange day trips or longer trips for part of your holiday to other parts of Kerala, e.g. Cape Comorin, Cochin, the Wildlife Sanctuary at Thekkady (Periyar), Munnar (Tea plantation country) or even the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu.
Please contact us if you would like us to do this and we can advise you on what accommodation & travel is likely to cost. See our "Environs" page
